Digital ESCAPE ROOM AP Calculus AB Exam Prep! This is a great way to review important standards prior to the AP Exam, Plus, it’s fun and engaging for your students while working on these concepts and skills! Students will use Google Sites to complete the various tasks and “unlock” the codes in order to Breakout the best and brightest students before moving on to the next room.
 
How much class time will the activity take?
This is a week-long (4-5 days) interactive Escape Room with 5 codes in 5 rooms with a storyline that 5 students have been Kidnapped by Conrad (the APUSH teacher) and you are trying to get to your AP Calculus Boot Camp before morning.
 
What does it take to break out of each room?
Each room contains 10 problems that are related to the AP Calculus Multiple Choice Exam. Students will be involved and engaged as they try to crack each puzzle.
 
In this Digital Escape, your AP Calculus students will review:

  • Particle Motion
  • Mean Value Theorem
  • L’Hospital’s Rule
  • Applications of the Derivative
  • Related Rates
  • Integration techniques
  • Average Value of a Function
  • Riemann Sums
  • Accumulation

  • Slope Fields
  • Differential Equations
  • Exponential Growth and Decay
  • Particular Solutions of Separable Differential Equations
  • Area Between Two Curves
  • Volumes of Revolution
  • Volumes by Cross Section
